Without volunteers we couldn’t… welcome 392,000 visitors to the Museum or look after our 500,000 objects to such a high standard. John Marshall, one of our collections’ volunteers, has been working on bus archive material and he’s recently scanned 10,000 items!

Following the Government’s most recent advice to avoid unnecessary journeys and social contact, we are today announcing that our planned events on 5th April (Spring Gathering) and 28th June (On the Buses) are cancelled.
Did you realise that today it is sixty-five years since RM1 was unveiled to the general public. Happy Birthday RM1 !
So it must be five years until Routemaster 70 ......
