I am new here, looking at restoring a late routemaster RML that is missing the engine, gearbox and brake compressor/pump unit! Is there any hope of finding these units? A Cummins had been fitted but I would prefer an AEC unit, would an AV505 be a possible fit?
I understand that an automatic gearbox was retroffited to some Routemasters, what was that unit?
