Air pressure regulator | |

Hello, According to my Service Manual the pressure is regulated at 65psi to the gearbox for shifting. There should be a Schraeder valve test fitting on the regulator. In a pinch, you can tighten up until the light comes on. The light comes on around 45 psi. Then loosen it back up a little until the light goes out and then who knows without a gauge further would be 65. You can only know for sure with a pressure gauge so that's the best option to make sure the gearbox lives another day! Cheers ________ RM 1788 www.premiermotorcoach.com |

Hi I have been having problems with bus, driving along and lose drive, gearbox light comes on and we loose drive. Pulled over went under bus undone the bolt and done up again on the air pressure regulator and it was fine and got us home. Once we got home the regulator bolt was taken out and cleaned and put back in all working fine but we seem to be dumping a lot of air now, How do we re set it up ? Does anyone know how many turns the bolt need ? Kind regards rod |
